‘Truth at all Costs’, TV, putty, rotating display stand, approx. 120 x 60 x 60 cm, 12:47 min in loop, 2017
‘Truth at all Costs’ is a video installation that blurs the boundaries between the physical and digital realm. Using the language of Youtube compilations and conspiracy video’s, ‘Truth at all Costs’ tells an associative story of ever glooming doom and destruction that never seems to really come. The aesthetics of online conspiracies is counteracted by displaying the video on a 1950’s model (Philips) television.
