HYPERNOSTALGIA is a generative multi-channel video installation built around a self-developed AI system that changes and evolves as it is displayed. Drawing from personal archives, family images and fragmented stories, the system attempts to remember a past it never lived. Images are transformed, discussed, reanimated and returned to the archive, gradually producing an unstable loop of memory, interpretation and decay. The work becomes a synthetic form of nostalgia: intimate, unreliable and strangely human.
HYPERNOSTALGIA is currently in development. Information on exhibitions and viewings will follow.
